Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Inflammatory Bowel Disease

Inflammatory bowel disease is a condition wherein an abnormal chronic inflammation in the intestine repeatedly goes away and then recurs.
Ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease are the most common diseases of IBD.
No clear pathogenesis has been identified so far,
but it is known that genetic/immunological/environmental factors (e.g. stress and drugs) are related to IBD.

ExoSCRT Exosome
  • Our pilot tests confirmed the effects of delaying individual apoptosis.
  • A higher survival rate (80%) of the ExoSCRT exosome-administered group was demonstrated vs. the control group (30%).

Exosome-based bio new drugs are a promising alternative for incurable diseases
